These blinds sit within there own perfect fit frame (available in white, anthracite or brown) which fits neatly inside the beading of your upvc window or door. Drilling or screws are not needed. Ideal for conservatories or sleek modern extensions!

No drilling, and that's the whole point

A Perfect Fit blind sits in its own frame, and the frame clips into the rubber beading around a UPVC window or door. Nothing is screwed into the frame, nothing is drilled, and the blind comes out as easily as it went in. That makes it the answer for a rented flat, a new conservatory nobody wants to put holes in, a leased office, or any sealed unit where drilling would void a guarantee.

Because the blind sits against the glass inside the beading, it moves with the window. Open a tilt-and-turn or a French door and the blind goes with it instead of swinging about. On a conservatory full of opening vents that's the difference between a blind you use and one you tie back permanently.

Three fabric types in one frame

Roller, venetian or pleated, all in the same Perfect Fit frame, so a single room can mix them. A venetian in the kitchen window for light control, a pleated in the conservatory roof line, a roller on the door, and the frames all match because they're the same product underneath.

Frames come in white, anthracite and brown. Anthracite against grey UPVC is the pairing we fit most often now, and it reads as part of the window rather than as something added to it.

Child safety

There are no cords and no chains. Venetian slats are tilted by a small wand on the frame, and roller and pleated versions are moved by hand on a tab. That removes the looped cord entirely, which is the reason BS EN 13120 exists, so this is the simplest blind in our range to put in a child's room or a nursery with nothing extra to fit or remember.

Insulation and privacy

The frame holds the fabric close to the glass and the gap around the edge is small, so there's less air movement past the blind than with a recess-mounted one. In practice that means a bit less draught on a cold night and better privacy after dark, because the light leak down the sides that gives a lit room away is largely gone.

What Perfect Fit blinds cost

Priced per opening like everything else, and the three fabric types price differently, with venetian generally the lowest and performance pleated the highest. A conservatory is priced pane by pane, so a quote for eight panes is eight numbers added up, not an estimate for the room.

Common questions

Will they damage my windows?

No. The frame grips the rubber beading, and when it comes off there's nothing to make good.

Can they go on wooden or aluminium windows?

Only where there is a suitable bead to clip into, which usually means UPVC. We check at the measure and will tell you honestly if the window won't take them.

Do they work on bi-fold doors?

On the glazed panels, yes, one per panel. For a wide bi-fold opening as a whole, Allusion or a tracked system is usually the better answer.

Can I take them with me when I move?

They unclip, but they're made to the exact pane, so they'll only fit identical windows. Treat them as fitted to the house.

What is the guarantee?

Twelve months from the date of order on the blind and the fitting, under clause 9.2 of our terms and conditions.
